Hi Friends! Happy Friday!! This is day 13 or 14 or 15 or 16 days in a row of rain and cloudy skies in Nebraska. Makes the lawns a lovely green and the grass keeps growing -- BUT . . . it's hard to get the lawn mowed when it rains every single day! At least, we were blessed with a beautiful rainbow one day!
Anywho - let's focus on something besides the never-ending rain -- like another Mimosa! Maddie and I had a quick trip to Milwaukee over Labor Day weekend and started off our weekend after an early morning flight with a Mimosa! Delish! By the way, Milwaukee is a fabulous city! It's so nice and clean. We stayed near the Third Ward - a really vibrant area with loads of places to eat and very walkable. It's beautiful!
We took a quick open-air vehicle tour of some highlights of the city. That was fun - but I needed a hat or scarf as my hair was all over the place! Note to self, tame that hair! And, of course, we couldn't visit Milwaukee without a photo with Fonzie (Happy Days!).
And another random photo - Teresa Caputo - remember her from TV - she talked to spirits?? She was in Omaha last week for a show and found her way to a pumpkin patch very close to our house! I think I need to follow her approach and use tons of hair spray to keep my hair in check! Happy weekend y'all!
