Walking Into Spiderwebs

Seems as if we've been walking into spiderwebs in more ways than one! There are spiderwebs all over the place lately. I hate it when I walk into or near one and can feel the web, but can't really see it! Aren't spiders quite the little creatures??

Our local Children's Zoo has this cool spiderweb for kids to climb on. It used to hang upright and I was always standing close-by in case Maddy would fall - she never did. The zoo moved it this year to a new space and it is located on the ground. Still loads of fun to climb and can be a little tricky in flip-flops and a dress. Climbing it is one of Maddy's favorite things to do, after pony rides, feeding the goats and the camels, having a snack herself and visiting the gift shop -- which is her all-time fav thing at the zoo! She's never met a stuffed animal that she didn't like or want!

I literally walked into a spider web 10 minutes ago! I had to shake it off of me! So, I totally relate.

What a great spider web at the zoo! Looks like you all had a great time!

OH fun! Lia just tried something like that recently at my parent's house. I also became entrenched as I tried to help her...now that would have been a picture! Maddy is just beautiful and has the sweetest little smile!!

Looks like you're making the most of summertime!

Janet,

Thank you so much for the sweet posts on my blog. I am having a lot of fun taking pictures this summer! I am using Flickr to edit my photographs. THey are really easy and fairly addictive. The editing program is Piknik. I upgraded my account, but I think most of the stuff is on the program you can use for free. I am hoping to get a more sophisticated program soon, but have been hearing mixed reviews...and I am pretty happy with what I am using right now.

I am hoping to get a little better at the actualy picture taking so I don't have to edit quite so much!! :-)

Have a great day!

Just saw your note about your dog....when we had our fireworks display on the 4th....no one could find Rudy...everyone was searching my entire house.....I thought he got out and ran away...my Mom found him in Nick's closet...it is a little walk in....he was shoved in the back with his face sticking out in the middle of all his stuffed animals....it looked like the scene in ET!

Just thought I would share...didn't mean to write you a book!
