Spring and fluffing and stuff!

Finally -- spring is officially here!! And get this, the hub allowed me to take down a Christmas wreath that was still hanging on a door to the backyard/garden! Oy -- I'm sure the neighbors were thinking of sneaking over and removing it!

We are definitely ready for warm weather, though I did hear a forecast that said there may be snow on Tuesday. :( So, guess we're not quite out of the winter woods just yet!

And Maddy is finally starting to feel better. She had sinusitis over a week ago and after a few days of antibiotics, she started to sound and feel even worse instead of better! Took her back to the doc and evidently she had caught another virus! Poor baby! She still has such a gunky nose and coughs quite a bit a night, but is feeling more like herself. So much so that she modeled a bit for me yesterday! Don't you love all the pieces of hair in her face!!

The Rickster and I raked up about a ton of leaves from the back by the garage and there are still a million left to go. I'm calling in help to get all those since I just don't have enough time to get all the yard work done. Heck, I barely get the housework done, yard work has to wait and wait and wait! But look, some little daffodils are thinking of blooming!!!

Inspired by a few decorating blogs that I visit, I did a little bit of spring fluffing in my foyer! It's not much, but it is my first try at putting something besides a pot of fake flowers there. Now, if I could just get moving on the rest of the house!

Look -- a flying bunny!!!!

Oh so much to comment on...

The wreath??? Everyone needs a bit of Christmas cheer...your neighbors should be thanking you!

The leaves??? Looks like our yard...daffodils and all...we need help too.

Sinusitis?? So sorry!!! I am gald Maddy is feeling better...and she looks good with fly away hair and all...Lia always has fly aways...and they drive me crazy. I am going to have to learn to photoshop them out.

Poor Maddy....she sounds like she had it bad:( Miss Sarah always has those fly aways.....and hers always end up in her mouth or on her lips....they drive me nuts!!

Your foyer looks very SPRING-ish.....great job!! And no worries on the Christmas wreath....ours just came down a couple of weeks ago, I hate a bare door and thought it was too early for a spring wreath, but now everything is yellow and purple and very springy even though our grass and trees are still dead looking...ugh....maybe in a couple of weeks we will see things start to bloom!!

have a great week!

I'm glad Maddie is feeling better. Seeing the flyaway hair was reassuring to me - Maddie's hair always looks so smooth and shiny. Lily's on the other hand is ALWAYS flyaway!

I hope you can avoid the snow this week.

Looks like my yard too. The daffodils are coming up through the leaves that need to be raked up. It's not warm enough yet for me to get out and do yardwork.

Your foyer looks so pretty!

Glad Maddy is feeling better. Katie has been sick since last week too.

I have a confession... I keep a Christmas wreath above our bed all year long... I mean... it's green with red in it and our bedding is red. It matches! HAHA!!

So glad Maddy is feeling better. It has been a rough winter. She looks great!!

And I need to get cracking on the spring decorating. Am doing the spring cleaning now... that counts, right?

So happy your sweet girl is feeling much better. Sinus infections are not fun at all. William is now getting over his very first cold since he's been with us. He's had other viral things, but no colds until now.

Your foyer looks so Spring-y(I know that's not a word). And I love the flying bunny...so cute! ;)

Wish our daffodils were up, but they are still in the ground. Maybe in a couple of weeks...

Hope she is getting better by the minute...it stinks to feel bad when it's so pretty outside! She's adorable!

I have daffodils lining our sidewalk up to the front door that have been blooming for two weeks...I don't remember them blooming for this long before! But it's a sure sign...Spring is here!
Yippie!

Yea for Spring!!! I hope it doesn't snow on you tomorrow. I realize we are not out of the woods yet - but we are oh so close!!! I looked at all of the leaves that showed up once the snow melted - I too have lots of raking to do! I look forward to getting out there and seeing something other than white stuff:)
Hope Maddy is feeling better! Love your spring decorations!

Hope Maddy stays on the mend. Your foyer looks fresh and pretty. When we were on vacation, all the leaves blew out of our yeard in a huge windstorm. I was so happy. I am sure myneighbors loved the "gift" we bestowed on them...
