Gray, Gray Go Away!

Even though I'm thinking that about my hair (I do have a scheduled color on Saturday . . . finally!), but what I'm really wishing is for the chilly and dreary gray days to go away! And I mean soon!!! We have not seen the sun around here in weeks! After putting up with the arctic temp days, its warmed up a little, but we've had damp, chilly fog that lasts all. day. long!

Isn't fog supposed to burn off about mid-morning? Well, I'm no weather-person, but evidently the sun has gone into hiding as the fog isn't burning off. My fair city is enveloped in a sense of grayness . . . well, gray and/or dirty snow and slush! So, if you could all make a little wish for me, please join in and shout out loud: GRAY, GRAY, GO AWAY!!

Oh, I know! A wintery mix is hitting us tonight. We don't know if the kids will even have school tomorrow. I just really want to see blue skies! Hope things clear up for both of us.

I can take a gray day here and there...but days in a row really can change your mood. Cool photo though:-)

WOW, I guess I am a southern girl through and through....I don't think I could take that wintery mix.

Gorgeous photo though!

I AGREE! I honestly can't believe that this fog has hung around so long. I hope we can see some soon.

I'm with you - the worst thing about a midwest winter is all the grey. Even if its cold, seeing the sun makes such a difference!

I hope you get some clear skies and here's wishing for an early spring!

I know.....even if it is going to be cold, a little sunshine would be nice:)

Hope Mr. Sun makes an appearance this weekend for you!!

Have a great weekend!

How funny. I immediately wondered if you were talking about hair or the lack of sun. :)
We haven't had a sunny day for a few days. We're expecting some snow I think too. Ick. The novelty of having snow this winter has long since passed.
It is hard when there's no sun. I have to start opening window shades and curtains. That usually helps the mood.
Maybe houses in the midwest should come equipped with sunlamps for winter!

I don't think the sun is going to make an appearance for awhile. It is supposed to start raining here tonight and then turn to snow. We could get up to 5 inches of snow here and 1 1/2 inches of rain before that. I so am like you though and wish that the sun would shine.

Ugh...you must live near me, because we've had just the kind of weather you've talked about. I really don't care for fog all day long either. I prefer the sunny winter days, where the snow glistens in its rays. Hopefully Mr. Sun will be back soon. Until then, you're not alone :) - Angie

I have to tell you, when I read the title I immediately thought of my own hair...hee hee.

We are very tired of the Gray hanging on here too. A nice sunny day would be wonderful! Cool photo!

Have a great weekend, Janet and family!

I'm with you on this one! Actually we were blessed with some warmer temps this last week and it was a wonderful albeit brief break. Bracing for winter's return this week. I am officially extending an invitation to SPRING!

(& I agree - the photo is awesome)
