Not Your Average Archaeologist

Look at her -- a little archaeologist-in-training . . . with an elephant tatt and polka-dot fingernails no less!!

Who knew there were dinosaur bones in Nebraska??

Not only does she like to "dig" for bones, but she likes to visit and even feed the camels!

Maybe she'll be able to dig for camel bones next year!!! (Tee hee - kidding!)

And the llamas -- they look cute, but don't let that fool you for a single minute! They knocked a whole container of food right out of her hands and then stomped their feet (hooves, I guess) wanting more!! Hmmph -- last time we feed those smelly animals!

Did I say that out loud?

Ooops, sorry about that!

Not to worry, we quickly ran out and washed our hands for at least 5 minutes to get those animal and animal food cooties off.

Truthfully, animals kind of creep me out.

I'm so glad the animals in the zoo are mostly behind fences and in cages -- that's plenty close enough for me!

Now, this is more to my liking!

Cute giant eggs to climb in and hatch out of with friends!

Say it with me now --

ADORABLE! :)

We had soooo much fun meeting you at the zoo. Cute pictures! I am with you -- the petting zoo completely grosses me out but at least the llamas are cute. The goats are smelly and ugly!

Hope you have a great weekend!

I don't like the petting zoo, at all! Never have, never will!

Looks like a fun day! And, I am loving the brown and white polka dot outfit!

Adorable...she's stylin' in her polka dot outfit, nails and tatt. ;) Grace and Maddy would be friends I can tell if we lived nearby.

Looks like you had fun, also not fond of the petting zoo, and my kids LOVE it(of course!)

Have a wonderful weekend!!!

Looks like you had a great time. I wanted to truly be an Archeologist growing up.

Looks like fun! (Well maybe except for that camel.) He kind of makes me nervous.
I like llamas, but then one has never knocked a container of food out of my hand.

Ahhhh! Yes, those kids are darn cute in that egg. :D

I'm with you, no touching the animals! Great pictures.... we are already into the hot humid summer, so not sure will be going to the Zoo anytime soon.

I don't believe in petting zoos. We've gone, but ewww... they creep me out. The germs! The smells! The dung! (Oops - did I just type that out loud?)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Jodee and I have definitely become good blogging "party decorating" friends. She and I have been exchanging party ideas with each other over the last few months. You have a beautiful daughter. I'll be adding your blog to my reader.
