Another one of the hidden treasures in
our city . . .
Children's Theater productions!
Last weekend, Maddy and I went to see Flat Stanley, Jr.
at our Community Playhouse
I admit when we read the books, I was not totally a fan,
but the musical adventures - so much fun!
What made it even better was
that Maddy knew some of kids
acting in the show!
The show was a sellout last
weekend and I'm sure it will be again this weekend.
If you're local and haven't seen it yet, quick try to get tickets!
As soon as we got home, Maddy signed
up for a summer "Alice in Wonderland" production!
She can hardly wait and I love
that she is willing to step out and try something new!

What a treasure. I love children's theatre!
One of the 1st grade classes at school read a Flat Stanley story not too long ago. They each had to take pictures of him on adventures with them.
Children's theatre is a great pathway to experiencing friendship, comraderie, and just having good fun. My neice is a Director for a children's theatre production company in Vermont, and she loves being with the kids. I am sure your Maddy is going to have a GREAT time!
What fun Maddy will have in the Alice in Wonderland production! Emma loved her summer theater camps.
Fun times! And awesome that Maddy is interested in being on stage next time. Yeah!!
What a hidden secret! I am sooo glad you told me so I could grab tickets too! We can't wait!
