Maddy finished 6th grade about a week ago!
She was so excited about the end of school field day
and then a short final day!
Yippee -- School's Out for Summer!

Some subjects were hard -- math, science, social studies!

She worked hard at school and with our favorite
tutor every week and made great progress!
She had a super teacher and hates to leave her behind.
I think every single year, she wishes her teacher
would move along with her to the next grade!

Trying not to forget everything she learned during
the year, we got a great little workbook with
daily worksheets!
She is thrilled!! Ha!!
Really, she doesn't mind and even though
I told her she only had to do one page a day, she's trying to
zoom ahead and finish 2 or 3 days at a time!
We are looking forward to a really fun summer!

Congratulations on another successful year, Maddy! A 7th grader! How time flies! Josie will be working on her math over the summer. Can't forget those multiplication tables. We ordered a fun workbook from her school. She doesn't know it yet. Smile.

I love uniform pictures too!! :) Glad she had a good year- but I can't believe she'll be in SEVENTH grade!! That's the grade I used to teach... wish she had been in my classroom! :)
