Me vs. Laundry
Is anyone else out there feeling a tad bit overwhelmed with laundry lately??? Ayiyi -- it seems that I am either: (a) constantly doing laundry; (b) folding clothes or have baskets full of clean clothes to fold; or (c) trying to put the clean stuff away. And, it seems like we have an awful lot of laundry for not that many people. I'm blaming it on summertime -- pool time = more wet towels and swimsuits. Hot, humid weather (and it's here now, believe me) = more changes of clothes and then there's the work clothes and "other clothes" -- something always either needs to be washed or ironed --[does anybody iron anymore?] ugh! Here it is getting late on Sunday evening, and I'm taking a little bloggy break before folding a couple baskets of clean clothes. Then the baskets will sit around for a day or two before it gets put away . . . which may not happen until I need the baskets for more dirty clothes. Such fun! Ok, break over -- back to the laundry. More exciting posts to follow --- stay tuned.

Yesterday was my catch up day...I did 7 loads of laundry!!! The last load was our towels from the pool. I agree...we do seem to have more in the summer! Ahyiyi!! : )
Yes, the laundry is a never ending job in this house too! Sarah went through 4 outfits on Saturday and 2 pool towels!
I am feeling overwhelmed this week in a big way......
Good luck moving the mountain!!

I just had to reply to this post. I decided to check someone else's post and as always I find myself going to other sites. Well today it was yours and I have to laugh because just before I went on I said to myself I need to do laundry AGAIN! I guess what I'm really doing is trying to avoid it. It seems like a never ending job. I just told my two older sons (ages 20 & 18) their responsible for their own laundry from now on. My oldest comes home from college and thinks I'll do it for me again. He says he likes the way I do it - filled with love. Do you think he's trying to butter me up?
Well I guess I better get to that laundry. LOL
I HATE laundry!! I got all caught up yesterday and then turned around the the pile of dirty clothes was already growing! GRRRR
We spent a day at the lake on Saturday and I came home to "lake laundry" and everything else! I do iron a lot! I just like how the clothes look when they are freshly ironed.

I am with you on letter B and I did more laundry last night when I realized I was out of clean underwear for my daughter....and I DO NOT iron!!
I am always in laundry HELL too! In fact, I don't know if we are the cleanest people in town or the dirtiest people in town! As you know, I DO NOT IRON! If anything needs to be ironed, it goes straight to the cleaners!
UMMM YES! I just got most of it done. And told hubby and the kids that they have to continue to wear the same clothes! Course- I got an"NO WAY, MOM!" I am overwhelmed and exhausted by all of the dirty laundry.
