TGIF

Whew -- only a 4-day workweek and I am beat!! Usually I am quite energized by Friday and looking forward to getting all sorts of things accomplished on the weekend. Not that I actually get all sorts of projects like cleaning and purging stuff done, but I do think about it. But today, I think I will just veg out tonight and tomorrow. I want to sleep a bit later as I haven't been sleeping very well. I want to watch a movie - -like a chick flick, not a kid movie, not a war movie, and not a sci-fi movie (any suggestions?). I do need to tidy up the house and scrub some floors as the place is simply a disaster! I know part of the "disaster" is due to having Rick sleeping in the family room with the room's furniture and stuff dispersed throughout the house. Add to that -- his laptop, notebooks, work papers -- it all equals more and more clutter. Accck -- I am definitely not a perfectionist, but the stuff all over is starting to stress me out a bit. This week I've felt a bit like a hamster on one of those wheels -- running and running and not getting anywhere. Yep, a movie, some buttered popcorn and a good night's sleep . . . that's what is on my list for the weekend. What's on yours?

Jan,

Take it easy and relax. I, too am in a state of clutter induced anxiety...but bone tired from teh work week (and for me...only 3 days...what's up with my exhaustion??). Anyway...the clutter is not going anywhere (I know because I keep watching mine and it never goes away!)....save yourself first...and deal with the clutter when you get your second wind!!

Kick up your feet, pop in that chick flick and eat some extra popcorn. You deserve it! I love weekends when you can veg out. Enjoy :)

Jan,

You sound like you deserve some much needed rest!

Forget the floors, kick back and relax.....Movies and Popcorn sound great....maybe add a pedicure too!

We have a low key weekend planned...Nick's first soccer game tomorrow, but it looks like it is going to rain!

Have a nice, restful weekend. I loved "P.S., I love you" (mainly because of the clothes that Hillary Swank wears with such aplomb)... give yourself a break! (I myself have been very busy with other things lately, and need to spend about an hour just getting the stuff back where it belongs!--- let alone scrubbing)

Enjoy your movie and a relaxing weekend. I have several projects I've been "thinking" about working on, too, but can't seem to get motivated to do them, so I'm with you on that one. My husband has been out of town, which means I stay up way too late scrapbooking and reading blogs. What I'd like to do tomorrow a.m. is sleep in, but what I won't be doing tomorrow is sleeping in, because Mia is my 5:45 a.m. wake-up clock (if not earlier). Yikes, I'd better get to bed!

Enjoy your weekend!

Ah, I know how you feel! For some reason, it always seems that shorter work weeks are the most tiresome. I am exhausted, too.

As for a good chick flick...I LOVED "PS...I Love You". It made me cry and kept me entertained and it is dreamy (isn't that what a good chick flick involves?: )

Have a great, relaxing weekend!

You deserve a relaxing weekend after all of your extra nurse duties the last two weeks. I recommend you watch P.S. I Love You too. It's a great movie!

I got drug to the NE football game today and we are off to Carson's first soccer game tomorrow!

Oh that sounds like a perfect weekend evening- a movie just for you! Hum- considering my last two have been Ariel's new something and Little Einsteins saving somewhere- I am no help there.

Enjoy the peace- the mess will be there (unfortunately) when you are rested.
