School started last Thursday -- only 3 hours worth on Thursday and Friday, but very exciting for a certain 2nd grader! Oh my, the crowd of parents around the entrance on Thursday morning was something to see and so very sweet -- such happy faces . . . and most of the students looked happy too!
A glowing report that evening from Maddy about her teacher! Mrs. T is SO NICE she said over and over again! And no homework -- just yet anyway! She is off to a very good start to a busy year. She is already a teensy bit nervous about math. She has it in her head that she's not very good at math, so we are going to practice a bit more and build up that confidence! Math is easy, math is fun, right!
Now, the big question this evening is . . . what color polo shirt to wear under her uniform jumper?? :) Yellow? White? Navy?

Maddy looks soooo adorable in her uniform! It sounds like she is off to a great start! We just finished Carson's first homework assignment tonight! Don't even get me started on that!
I'm with Maddy -- I hate math and it is hard. For some reason or another, my debits and credits never add up!

I am glad Maddy is happy to be back at school. She does look very cute in her uniform and how nice not to have to pick out an outfit each day, its a neverending battle in our house.

Well I have a little girl named Ellie who starts 2nd grade tomorrow. I am hoping she comes home saying that her teacher is SO NICE. Like you, we are also working on math facts, trying to build her math skills. My daughter is a clever little girl--it surprises me that she has herself convinced (like your daughter) that she isn't good in math.

i def. say the white polo. it really stands out. love the uniform. i wish all schools had them! then i wouldn't be rushing around to buy my son a decent pair of jeans today!
Her uniform is cute, no matter what color she wears, I am sure! I am also loving that ladybug on your door. My Nina is in such a ladybug phase right now, she would be so happy to come knock on your door! :)
