Shorts to Snuggies* and Back

We have a saying in Nebraska . . . "if you don't like the weather, wait 10 minutes and it'll change." That is so true, especially lately with summer giving way to fall.

Last Friday, it was in the high 80's, then Saturday and Sunday topped out at maybe 55! So chilly, plus a little rainy and damp -- hey, it's Snugg*ie weather!! Just kidding -- I don't have a snuggie . . . yet! It was perfect weather to get out the crockpot, make a little bbq pork, some apple crisp and watch girl movies!
Today (Monday) --90 degrees ---back to shorts again!

Finally, I dragged Miss Maddy outside for a few pics after having appropriately bribed her earlier in the week with some crazers. Do you know what those are? I didn't either. They are cute, fun little erasers! So far, she has a teapot, an ice cream bar, a giraffe, an adorable elephant! Somehow, that girl always finds some little item to collect. I'm just happy we're finally out of the Webkin*z collecting. Crazers are way more reasonably priced! :)

We have the same saying here in Wisconsin, yes crazy weather!

Love the pics of miss M in her stylin' plaid hat. I'm a bribing mom for pics too. ;)

Cute pictures! I love Maddy's denim jacket!

I have a love/hate with our weather. I never know how to dress the kids. I guess layering is the best way to go! I am not complaining though. I am enjoying the cooler temps!

We've had some pretty cool days here. I wish there were more warmer ones.

Somehow I don't think there will be many more "shorts" days.

Cute photos!

Snuggies are perfectly acceptable. You know, as long as they aren't pink or something. We're going to hit 88 on Wednesday. And I? I am longing for fall.

That face! Those clothes! That HAT! Oh my, what a combination! She's so cute! (I mean stylish). :-)

And regarding your comment...oh the flattery! LOL! No, I definitely don't have my own business. I can't get shots of my own kids to turn out half the time. But that's so sweet of you to ask. However, I CAN clone out wrinkles - hee hee!

I saw some crazers this week (at Wlgreens) that were a TOILET, a toilet brush and I (THINK) a pile of poo. Seriously.

Maddy Boo could NOT be any cuter!!! Mama had some great lighting for those pictures!

We are experiencing that same kind of weather.... one day it is so cool that you actually need a sweater or jacket and the next it is almost 90 degrees again. CRAZY!!

Maddy looks so super cute in her hat and denim jacket!! LOL about being out of the webkinz stage...... I was so happy when Nick moved on. Now Sarah plays with his old collection:)

Have a great week Janet~

What a cutie you have! Love the hat. I so wish we would start feeling a little cooler weather down our way. We won't be feeling any of that for a long time. I'm still in the thick of webkins, sillybanz and now zooballs. Oh it's just crazy I tell ya!

Hope you're having a wonderful week!

My gosh... that is a HUGE difference. I am craving 55 degree weather, but I'm stuck with 90s. I've heard we might get in the 70s next week!!

Adorable pictures!!
