Brrrrr -- hello Winter! OH MY WORD!!!
We had an Arctic blast over the weekend and it's wasn't a fun one!
It was so incredibly cold and windy. The high temps were around 10 with wind chills at -20, and it was incredibly windy with blowing snow all over the place.
It was a day to stay inside on Saturday!
Our pup, Miss Muffy, wore her puffy vest outside whenever she ventured out.
Unfortunately, she moves so fast, we never got a photo of her in her little vesty. But, rest assured, it did its job and kept her warm! We tried to call her to come in right away on Sunday, but no, she had her own plans. There she was . . . out in the backyard --
throwing her ball around and playing in the snow, all on her own.
Yes, Scotties are one of the smartest dogs ever!!
Maddy and I are trying to train a little bit. She loves treats and will sit and stay.
We actually haven't gotten much beyond "come, sit, stay and crash (lie down)."
Someday we hope to teach her to speak and maybe shake, but for now,
we're going with the easy tasks. She and Maddy just love each other so much!
They are already "besties"!
Even though, I complain (what, me complain???) about Muffy sometimes,
she is a good little dog,
and I know that she will be a trusted companion and confidante
for Maddy in the years to come!

Muffy is just delightful. I'm going to have to hide this post from Emma. The top of her Christmas list includes a dog. Santa just isn't going to come through this year...sigh.

My best friend (and her twin daughters, the Tongginator's best friends) have a Scottie. They are the cutest little dogs. Muffy is adorable.

Didn't know they made cute puffy vests that fit a little Scottie dog!! Please take a pic of her in it soon. :) We love Scotties too.

What a sweet post! Maybe Muffy could teach Ozzy how to "crash" and Ozzy could teach her how to shake! HA HA! I hope you can snap a picture of the puffy vest! This weather is complete craziness!

It has been snowy and very cold in our neck of the woods, too! Brrrrrr!
Maddy and Muffy look too cute together. How sweet that she is so crazy about her new puppy! So sorry about the cold weather it has hit us as well and I have one little girl who cries every time we go outside. She does not like the cold one bit. I think it might make for a very long winter!

Awww, Muffy is cute, cute, cute!! I am the EXACT same way with our Sophie. Especially when she hasn't had a hair cut in a while and she MAY come in with some surprises on her behind (if you know what I mean!) i could kill her!!!
