We've had the sweetest weather this fall. I really hate to mention it because I'm sure that will jinx it and/or we'll have the worst winter on record! But, must enjoy it while we can, right?!
The trees have been lovely, though cold temps along with windy days and nights have resulted in loads of leaves on the ground. We had 30 (yes 30!) bags of leaves for the trash guys the other day and we're not done yet! Not to worry, I didn't rake them all myself!
In fact, I didn't actually rake any. I hired someone! :)
I took this photo last weekend (in my robe) when the sun had just come up and there was a rosy pinkish glow in the sky. I wanted to be sure and catch a snapshot of the fall colors before the bareness of winter takes over! Love you Fall -- I miss your beautiful colors already!

No my friend. I don't start decorating till December 1! But, I have done a little shopping. My turkey was cooked in October for our Thanksgiving!

The only Christmas decor I have out is in my craft room, but I can't wait! What a gorgeous fall picture. Our leaves are nearly gone and it was 27 degrees this morning. I fear winter is coming soon. I need to get serious about Christmas shopping. That dollhouse is going to take up LOADS of time.

Beautiful, Janet. Love how the light shows the colors of the leaves so well!! Fall is hands down my very favorite season and I'll miss it.
Our leaves are pretty much gone and it's been windy. I had my last photo session last weekend with a family. It's starting to get cold here.
No Christmas decorating for me until right after Thanksgiving. I love my house at Christmas. We're spending Thanksgiving with my parents. I've done most of my Christmas shopping for G and W.
Beautiful picture. I plan on decorating this week! I know it will be all too soon that we will be taking snowy landscape pictures.

We are all set for Thanksgiving..... but cannot even wrap my head around Christmas yet. We will most likely decorate the week after Thanksgiving:)

Oh I miss this about the states the most! All the different colors of the leaves in the fall...but...I don't miss raking! Good for you for hiring someone!!!!!

I have decorated all I'm going to!! I love Christmas and decorating, but I'm one of those people that likes to keep it "contained" to one room :)
